A Litlle About Me:

Born in Campinas / Brazil I was born in 1966 when I turned 4 years old my parents decided that our family should move to the city of São Paulo, one of the great cultural metropolises of the time.
It was through my mother who knew like few people in her time all the most important American actors and films of the 40's, 50's and 60's that I developed my passion for cinema.

By the end of the 70's my family returned to my homeland until one day towards the end of the decade, accompanied by a great childhood friend, I went to the cinema for the first time. My first film was “Orca - The Killer Whale” 1978 a Production by Dino De Laurentis and directed by Michael Anderson. The film tried to stick with Steven Spielberg's 1975 hit "Jaws" that came a few years earlier.

That same day, a passion for films and cinema was born in me that has never gone away. The years passed and I immersed myself in books and magazines dedicated to the seventh art. Parallel to this fact, I developed my passion for writing that would later become film reviews as practice and exercise at the same time as fun and learning.

This also later allowed me to do small jobs and articles in small local newspapers but essentially I treated it as a kind of hobby. Today, a fanatic for foreign films and a fan and collector of the Criterion Collection, I am daring to write and make video editions, talking to moviegoers around the world who, like me, consider Cinema to be a great passion.

Through this blogger that I hope you like it too, I hope to share my opinions and points of view. Thanks.
